Abstract

The article deals with the provisions of the existing Criminal Procedure Code of
Ukraine that regulate investigative (detective) actions as means of evidence formation in
criminal proceedings. It also reveals problematic issues and controversies in the rules that
cover this topic, makes suggestions how to improve criminal procedure law and its application.
