Issues, thematic focus of the publication: coverage of modern national, foreign theoretical and applied issues of criminalistics, conducting various types of forensic examinations, specific expertise application  in legal proceedings, legal education and training of forensic experts.

The purpose of Research Paper Collection: Theory and Practice of Forensic Science and Criminalistics is to publish the results of theoretical and applied research on topical issues of forensic science, criminalistics, and criminal procedure. The collection pages pay considerable attention to improvement of author's methods and provide scientific recommendations for conducting forensic researches.

Tasks and main objectives of the publication: publication of the results of scientific and dissertation researches in the fields of criminalistics, forensic science and related sciences, popularization and exchange of experience in the field of legal science and staff training of forensic science institutions, discussion of draft laws, dissemination of information about events of a scientific nature (reviews,, personalities of scientists, defense of dissertations, new legal publications, scientific events: conferences, workshops, competitions, etc.).

Articles are sent to the Editorial board exclusively via e-mail. In accordance with topics of the collection, content on the coverage of modern issues of criminalistics, topical issues of various types of forensic science and specific expertise application in legal proceedings are published on the pages of a scientific professional publication.

Scientific articles are accepted for publication (where the author highlights the main working results); scientific and methodological articles (where the author analyzes methods, procedures, tools, thanks to which it is possible to achieve a certain scientific result); scientific and theoretical articles (where the author presents the results of theoretical ways of solving  issue); scientific and practical articles (where the author highlights his own practical experience and conducted scientific experiments); review scientific articles (devoted to assessment, results, generalization, analysis of previously published information). The Editorial board is interested in problematic articles, scientific ideas or brief messages? namely: results of experiment, their own experience, etc. Scientific style of presenting the content is established: accuracy, logic, conciseness, comprehensibility, coherence, integrity, completeness, and a high scientific level.

Information on the processing and publication of articles: free of charge, including exemption from any fees (charges) for the processing, peer review, and/or publication of articles submitted by applicants of the third level of higher education (doctoral level) studying under state-funded programs and prepared by them individually (without co-authors).
